Tempest Gold was founded by Chris El-korek in late 2017. Fans of artists Echo & The Bunnymen, Robyn Hitchcock, & Love and Rockets will find themselves on familiar ground here. El-korek's songwriting centers around themes of the subconscious, interconnectedness, struggle and triumph. His stories are not just one's personal observations and moments but experiences shared by all. Shifting between full band arrangements and solo acoustic songs, Tempest Gold lives as an ongoing project featuring a variety of collaborators including Arcellus Sykes (Ural Thomas & The Pain), Chris Spicer (Camp Crush) & Mike Collins (Rooftop Screamers).
